Summary
The ordering process for eXpansys is fine and mine went through really easily. I ordered my HP iPAQ 614c on the 12/8 and received it on the 15/8. No problem so far, not until I eagerly opened my package. First alarm bell rang, the HP seal was broken. I emailed their tracking dept immediately and was told that this is quite normal, eXpansys often check the battery integrity, it is a brand new unit and has not been tampered with. That's what they told me! Fair enough, although I did think it odd. The item looked new so I dismissed my concern. The next problems occurred when I configured it and then synchronised it using my PC and the USB cable. The unit came up with a completely different serial number and IMEI number to that on the box in which it came. What's more it had been configured to a Spanish user already and was last synchronised 2 weeks before I had even received it, CLEARLY NOT NEW THEN! I emailed to complain and that I wanted a FULL refund which so far they have agreed to but I haven't received yet (only posted it today). However, not so much as an apology let alone anything for the inconvenience of having to wipe the unit, reset it and return it. Shan't be getting a replacement from the guys either!!! I just hope I get my money back, or else!
