The freezer I bought did not work and I found it very difficult to get a replacement. You should try your telephone system to obtain after sales support. Automatic voice response systems are bad, not customer friendly, and in your case where it asks you to speak to a computer system are totally frustrating. Even though your web site says you can go to store, when I did this they didn't want to know at first. Eventually after pleading they sorted the problem out. I should have been able to do this easily by phone or even online.I have purchased items at Currys stores and been happy, but the online experience is not good.
It would be useful to have a phone no. on the on-line receipt. Otherwise, no problems.
Washing Machine delivered on time and cost and to the standard advertised. Very Good service.
Currys recently run an advertising campaign on TV, saying that they will deliver at weekends and on Saturdays, within a narrow timeslot arranged to suit their customers.
The slimline dishwasher I wanted was, according to Currys, sent out by the manufacturer (Whirlpool). It was not available to collect, which would have been my preferred option.
So I was dismayed to be contacted by the sender, a courier company called Sprint GB (not Whirlpool), to be told that they do not do either Saturday or evening deliveries. They only gave me a choice of day, so I ended up having to get a house-sitter. They originally contacted me with a timeslot within the day.
I was further unimpressed when the couriers changed their arrival slot the day before delivery, meaning that I had to contact the house-sitter at very short notice to arrange for him to stay longer than I had expected.
They also said that delivery would take up to 28 days, when in fact it took 8, so I had much less time to arrange a house-sitter than I expected.
matsui freezer mtf1857w damaged but had been repaired this repair was not seen at time of delivery was only seen when light shone on freezer repair is only small but if i wanted one repaired i could have repaired old freezer matsui freezer came boxed so repair done at factory everthing else delivery and delivery men were top class and very polite so it is a small thing that has put me off this service
I was very impressed with the process I experienced with this supplier. Not only was the delivery day correct, the driver called us half and hour before delivery, gave us an accurate ETA and delivered on it. Very happy with this service
First order was a freezer delivered on Monday 6/8/08. It was so badly damaged & the men were going to leave it though the side was caved in & the door would not open.A replacement was sent on Wednesday along with a frdge freezer that I had also ordered. The fridge freezer was dented but the other freezer was OK.I only kept them because by this time I was so Pissed of with Currys & the thought of having to sort out the recovery of my money. I have been A Currys customer all my life which has now ended. Sort yourselves out.My Family could not believe how badly I was treated on the phone by your useless staff
my order was given to my neighbour withiut my permission or without a card note or call to let me know. this, i feel, was very un-professional.
It was good to be ablw to find the time for my deluivery slot on line , and also that someone rany to let me know the day before. It was also helpful to have a phoner call just before the good werwe delivered.
The men on the delivery van were excellent, very polite, helpful and delivered the fridge freezer and collected the old one without any fuss.
